This learning module provides an overview of health care quality improvement basics based on the Model for Improvement, developed by Associates in Process Improvement and recommended by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI). The topics covered in this series include how to establish effective goals, the use of the Plan Do Study Act (PDSA) cycle for testing improvements and how to monitor and track data to support your health care quality improvement efforts.
