
Join us in welcoming three new board members! Each of our new directors has a strong desire to improve the patient’s health care experience and develop solutions to provide better health outcomes for their communities.
The board is composed of directors from Alaska, Hawaii, Montana and Wyoming. Board membership represents academia, business, consumer representatives, health information, law, medicine, payors and rural health.
Here are our three newest directors:
Dr. Arzubi is board-certified both in general psychiatry and in child/adolescent psychiatry and is the chief executive officer and founding partner of Frontier Psychiatry. He served as Chair of Psychiatry at the Billings Clinic from 2014 to 2019, where he helped launch Montana’s first EmPATH unit and psychiatry residency training program. In 2020, the Montana Medical Association recognized Dr. Arzubi for his contributions by presenting him with the Doctor Jack McMahon Service to Montana Physicians Award.
Chan has 30 years of experience managing professional staff, health information and technology systems and is the chief executive officer of Hawai‘i Health Information Exchange (HIE), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation committed to helping the community realize the vision of better quality, better health and lower cost through effective sharing and exchange of clinical information. Prior to joining Hawai‘i HIE in 2011, Francis was the chief information officer at Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii (CLH), where he oversaw the setup of the systems to support electronic data reporting to the Department of Health for Epidemiologic Surveillance.
Schramke is a retired biotech executive who lives in Hawaii and is an advisory board member for the national patient family advisor PFAnetwork. She also serves as an advisor with the American College of Physician’s Raise the Rates immunization panel, the AGING Initiative Patient/Caregiver Advisory Council (APCAC) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)-sponsored Patient and Family Engagement Network (PFEN). Additionally, Schramke volunteers as a patient and family advisor for Mountain-Pacific.
